We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern (f/m/d)– Technical Support Specialist to join our Building Automation team in Böblingen. This full-time, paid internship offers hands-on experience in technical support for our Building Management Systems (BMS) product portfolio. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and support teams, gaining valuable insights into real-world technical problem-solving and customer interaction.
This position is part of our University Relations Program, designed to support students in launching their careers through practical experience and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Provide coverage for the Technical Support Helpdesk (phone, email, web) for the BMS product portfolio.
  • Deliver post-sales technical assistance, including issue identification, investigation, resolution, root cause analysis, and replication of technical problems.
  • Support areas such as configuration, installation procedures, application functionality, and system operations.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate across Honeywell departments.
  • Track and document request resolutions to ensure timely and effective support.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or IT Networking.
  • Languages:
    • English: C1–C2
    • German: B2–C2
  • Knowledge of computers, electrical & electronic concepts and devices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills – ability to quickly and correctly assess the impact, complexity, and urgency of problems reported by customers.
  • Interest in technology and willingness to learn.
  • Valuable:
    • Knowledge of HVAC applications.
