Perform microscopic deburring under high magnification Deburr/finish aerospace components to rigorous design specifications. Demonstrate excellent manual dexterity and skill in hand-finishing techniques. Perform detailed inspections of finished parts to ensure quality standards. Use precision tools and techniques to achieve high-quality finishes. Interpret design drawings and GD&T requirements. Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced production environment. Adhere to manufacturing systems and procedures, ensuring safety for yourself and others.

As a Hand Finisher - here at Honeywell, you will ensure efficient, safe machining finishing/deburring processes, lead a team, and collaborate to meet production goals contributing to the overall productivity of our manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with team members to meet production goals, enhancing both operations and customer service. You will report directly to our Sr ISC Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Cambridge, ON, Canada location on an On-site work schedule.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Grade 12 education.
3-5 years of experience in a finishing role within a high technology environment, preferably in aerospace.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in hand finishing techniques.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of SAP is an asset.- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks effectively.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and AS9100 requirements is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

This position may requires standing sitting for extended periods, using microscope, lifting materials and regular exposure to hand tools and finishing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Must be flexible to work different shifts as needed.
