As a Lead SW Architect here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative software solutions that meet the strategic goals of the organization. You will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products.

You will report directly to our Director SW Architect and you’ll work out of our Hamilton, NJ location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the overall success of Honeywell by leading architectural initiatives that enhance system performance and scalability, ultimately delivering exceptional value to our customers.

As a Lead SW Architect here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative software solutions that meet the strategic goals of the organization. You will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 5+ years of experience in software architecture and development.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, architectural patterns, and best coding practices.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and technologies, including cloud computing and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices to enhance software delivery processes.

WE VALUE

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading software development projects and teams.
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex problems effectively.
  • Passion for technology and continuous improvement in software development practices.
  • Experience with software development tools and frameworks relevant to the role.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

The annual base salary range for this position in New Jersey is $145K - $175K. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
