As a Sr Advanced Software Engr here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of software engineers, ensuring successful project execution and high-quality solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet software engineering requirements. You will report directly to our Manager and you’ll work out of our Bengaluru, Karnataka location on a Hybrid work schedule.
As a Sr Advanced Software Engr here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of software engineers, ensuring successful project execution and high-quality solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet software engineering requirements. You will report directly to our Manager and you’ll work out of our Bengaluru, Karnataka location on a Hybrid work schedule.
You Must Have
- Experience in Test Automation - using C# and Selenium
- Experience in testing REST APIs, Dynamic web pages and user persona
- Design Performance Test Scripts based on Requirements
- Working Experience with SQL Server Database Functionalities in constructing complex queries.
- Develop test plans and strategies for new features/components with a focus on automation
- Experience in system integration of MES applications with DCS systems is added advantage.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Equivalent.
- 12 and above years of experience in system integration and testing, preferably in industrial domains.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture and software systems.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools, simulation environments, performance, and security testing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Define system integration and test strategies for complex software systems.
- Develop detailed test plans, procedures, and schedules aligned with project milestones.
- Lead integration of subsystems into a complete system and validate functionality.
- Perform end-to-end system testing, including functional, performance, and regression tests.
- Mentor and guide a team of test engineers.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (development, quality, program management) to resolve integration issues.
- Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to Honeywell processes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation for audits and certifications.
- Implement best practices in test automation and integration.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Automate system integration test cases to prevent regression efforts in the future.
