You will report directly to our R&D Manager, and you’ll work out of our Trieste location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the technological advancements within Honeywell Building Automation, helping to shape the future of our products and solutions that ensure facilities are safe, energy-efficient, sustainable, and productive.

- Engineering degree or Physics Degree
- Fluent Italian, intermediate English (at least B1)
- Knowledge of Statistical Methods
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning

- Basics of software and electronics
- Basics of measurement principles
- Basic knowledge of Fire detection principles
- Basic knowledge of Physical phenomena modelling/simulation.

- Evaluate new methods to detect smoke. Create algorithm mixing different inputs of detectors to minimize false alarms and response time
- Planning and conducting experiments
- Demonstrating procedures
- Presenting results to senior and other research staff
- Design/Evaluate flow path and flow measurement inside Aspirating System Devices
- Work with team members to identify project goals. Research methods, variables and other test parameters
- Organizing product/material testing
- Liaising with research and production staff
