We are currently seeking a Security Technician to join our Honeywell team in Launceston. This customer-facing role requires a strong focus on understanding and addressing customer needs within the electronic security industry.

We are currently seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to join our Honeywell team in Launceston.
  • Experience as Security Technician or Electrician
  • Ability to understand and explain electronic security systems to clients. (training provided)
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision
  • Security Systems Workers License
  • Ability to obtain NV1
  • Ability to be on call, work a rotating roster

  • Engage with customers to assess their security requirements and identify suitable solutions
  • Generate tailored solutions with a specific emphasis on Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS), CCTV, and alarm systems
  • Collaborate with the Field Service Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery success
  • Be apart of afterhours On-Call Roster
  • Provide expert knowledge of our products and services to help guide customers' purchasing decisions
  • Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (training provided)
  • Configuration of security systems hardware and software
  • Diagnose faults and repairs on security systems
