We have an opportunity for an Engineering Test Technician to join our Elster Water Metering team in Luton. You will support our ongoing NPI process developing various water meters (Volumetric, Solid State Electronic, Woltmann type bulk, single and multijet). Onsite Luton

Key Responsibilities
- Part of Product validation team Testing and assisting development of water meter products.
- Using and maintaining test equipment and lab facilities
- Testing and producing reports of results and presenting the results to the engineering team
- Data analysis and review of results.
- Maintaining and adhering to HSE requirements
- Training and assisting other members of the team
Must Have Skills
- To have completed an Apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline or extensive experience alongside a higher education in an engineering discipline
- Experience of testing techniques ideally within product Development or fluid metering environment.
- Experience of Machine maintenance and repair. Competent in the use of standard hand and power tools.
- Experience of HSE requirements and safe working practices (COSHH, risk assessments etc.).
- A good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Good analytical thinking, troubleshooting & problem-solving skills, coupled with the drive to learn.
- Knowledge and experience of 6 sigma methodologies would be an advantage. A good level of knowledge in general engineering and systems to assist and advise on the development of products.
