As CTO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping LSS technological direction, fostering innovation, and ensuring our competitive edge in the rapidly changing global market. Working closely with the LSS VP/GM, you will set the strategic technology roadmap that will enable delivering LSS business objectives including organic growth over STRAP. You will spearhead the development of groundbreaking solutions and cultivate a culture of creativity and transformation – specifically in the areas of connected services and software. By aligning technological initiatives with our core business objectives, you will empower Honeywell to stay at the forefront of our industry, adapting to emerging trends, mitigating risks, and facilitating informed decision-making.

Honeywell is seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technological innovation efforts and drive strategic initiatives for our LSS business. This position reports directly to the HPS Chief Technology Officer and is based in our Houston, TX location with a Hybrid work schedule.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Engineering Product Development Practices, Processes, and Tools, with a demonstrated ability to apply these in practical settings.
- Proficiency in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex global business structures effectively.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset focused on leveraging technology for business advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to engage and inspire diverse audiences, including executives and technical teams.
Experience:
- 10 years of experience in Technology and Product Development, demonstrating a track record of successful innovation.
- Proven leadership experience in culture change, talent development, and performance transformation within technological environments.
- Previous exposure to high-impact new product introductions, delivering projects with both timely execution and high quality.
Educational Background:
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred, evidencing a deep understanding of the underlying principles of technology and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage global design and technology centers to drive innovation, execution, and quality across multiple projects and disciplines.
- Proactively identify and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, proposing enhancements to existing products and developing new services that meet market demand.
- Define and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap, articulating key milestones and initiatives that are aligned with the organization's strategic vision.
- Lead transformation efforts for New Product Development (NPD), ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality expectations.
- Oversee the technology budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation aligned with departmental priorities and organizational objectives.
- Direct research and development activities, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated to support product development and innovation projects.
