The future is what you make it.

When you join Honeywell, you become a member of our global team of thinkers, innovators, dreamers and doers who make the things that make the future. At Honeywell, we believe in the power of our engineering community. We are a team of innovators who strive to make the future of aerospace smarter, safer, and more sustainable.

That means changing the way we fly, fueling jets in an eco-friendly way, keeping buildings intelligent and safe and even making it possible to breathe on Mars

Are you ready to help us make the future?

The Honeywell Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) reduces the risk of controlled flight into terrain (CFIT) by providing flight crews with timely, accurate information about terrain and obstacles in the area. Honeywell's EGPWS leverages sophisticated technology, aircraft inputs and proprietary algorithms to predict and provide real-time warnings of potential conflicts with obstacles or terrain, helping to ensure safe navigation and avoidance of hazards during flight. Additional features include SmartRunway and SmartLanding systems, SURF and ROAAS, developed to help flight crews avoid potential runway incursions and excursions

As an Advanced Systems Engineer within the Communications, Navigation, and Surveillance (CN&S) group, you will play an integral role in the design, development, and implementation of advanced Avionics solutions, most notably (EGPWS) Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning Systems. In this role, you will impact the development and advancement of avionics technology, ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of aircraft systems. You will be responsible for developing and implementing EGPWS and related avionics solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer and product requirements, and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
