Intern - Sr Collections Administrator

We have an opportunity for Intern Collections Administrator team with Honeywell in Prague. You would be establishing and maintaining contact with customers concerning past due invoices, payment trends, resolution of disputed invoices, and other matters related to past due receivables.
This is a part-time opportunity (DPC agreement for ~20 hours a week) for students with a limited duration (up to 1 year).
You will liaise with different business functions regarding customer disputes, invoice copies, proof of delivery, contract/purchase order issues, etc.
This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. The work is hybrid with flexible arrangement.

Key responsibilities:
• Assist in the collection of outstanding payments from customers.
• Support project coordination tasks for various transformation initiatives.
• Help manage and maintain accurate data in our systems to ensure effective collections strategies.
• Participate in the adoption and implementation of Sales Force within our collection’s framework.
• Foster and maintain relationships with cash collection agencies, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
• Analyze data to identify trends in collections and report findings to management.
Key skills and qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Economics, Finance or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work ~20h/week (to combine work and study)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

As a Sr Collections Administrator here at Honeywell, you will lead the collections function, manage a team, set targets, and implement strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt. You will report directly to our Senior Customer Experience Manager and you’ll work out of our Praha location on a Hybrid work schedule.
