The purpose of the Logistics Analyst role is to be the primary point of contact between the ISC Plant Manager, Supply planning and material management, Sourcing, Vendors, Finance, Freight Forwarders, Customs Brokers. This includes planning as per factory needs, following up with forwarders on shipments from collection till delivery, monitoring warehouse activities which includes inbound receipting, stock intakes, order release as per production needs, and packing, distribution and/or export documentation, cycle counts, physical counts etc. Position will also report dotted line into Logistics ISC function.

  • 2 years of experience in warehousing & Distribution. Freight forwarding, import-export customs process within Saudi
  • Should be at least Graduate and any certification in Warehouse/SCM will be preferred.
  • Strong command of English both written and spoken; Arabic language knowledge can be a plus
  • Must working knowledge of ERP BRP & BRV -, with preferred knowledge on other ERP’s used in supply chain and warehousing (MM & SD Module of SAP)
  • Analytical skills to investigate and understand root cause, combined with problem solver attitude
  • High competence in standard MS Office applications including Word, Excel with basic knowledge of Pivot tables, VLOOKUP and functions
  • Must have ability to effectively communicate, written and verbal.
  • Capability to perform in a very challenging environemnt with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Should be well versed with all Processes related to Warehouse and Supply Chain
  • Good knowledge on packaging standards & Defect management
  • Internet & email usage is a must
  • Customer focused, team player, pro-active professional approach

Responsible for Logistics, Importing, Warehousing(2 locations), Distribution, Exporting and 3PL Operations. This includes but not limited to inbound, storage, outbound, RMA activities.

  • Work closely with KSA Logistics Leader to ensure global logistics strategies are in place.
  • To be the focal point of contact between the Vendor & procurement & regulatory team to manage the movement of shipments from vendors to the factory and then to the DC or export place.
  • Should have good command of KSA Custom clearance processes, ensure all local compliances are taken care of in dispatches.
  • Set up goals and KPI for Factory warehouse function and set up monitoring process.;
  • Set up robust warehouse practices and create safe working environment in Factory warehouse.
  • Coordinate with internal functions for proper tracking and availability of the material; Co-ordination with buyer on excess, shortages and damage reported during inbounds.
  • Goods receiving (GRN/put-away), KABAN implementation and issuance to production, OBD creation, courier/FF arrangement and dispatches should be done as per set SOPs and within agreed SLAs.
  • Closely work with customer service department for timely billing and dispatches, run healthy MOS for enhancing customer experience.
  • Develop HOS (LEAN) culture and practices within organization and share best practices with service providers, which will help to improve overall productivity.
  • Manage all transporters for shipment tracking and e2e TAT as per SLA for dispatches Ex Factory.
  • Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records.
  • Participation in CFT (Cross functional team) other functions, If and when required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
  • Ensure safety performance and logistics quality management.
  • Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.
  • Set up good processes to ensure smooth business without any dependency.
  • Ensure productivity monitoring Month on Month and Year on Year as per ISC Logistics set goals;.
  • Manage Raw Material Store & FG Store separately while ensuring 5S is rigorously maintained
  • Creation of inventory records in SAP.
  • Validation of stocks into SAP once delivered to the factory.
  • Perform all transactions in SAP (GRN, Material Issuance to production line, receipt of goods in FG location in SAP, STPO)
  • Timely receipts of FG stock, reconciliation, receiving & put away
  • Liable for the stock accuracy in both locations and strong accuracy management through book to book recon, IRA and yearly stock county audited by Deloitte
  • Managing inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities of imports and exports & local distribution; cycle count and audit management.
  • Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the 3PL and freight forwarders using KPIs with a primary focus on cost controls.
  • Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
  • Validating forwarders and 3PL pre-alerts and invoices against PO in compliance with local import-export team; manage freight KPIs and good records out of all transactions.
  • Export order documents, DN’s, PL creation and support on COO if needed.
  • Ensure best practices are aligned with standard processes in place.
  • Coordination with the order management team for return materials.
  • Logging of RMA in the RMA tracker & maintain RMA Log Report.
  • Provides HOS, SIOP and ISC scorecard metrics and reports as required by the business to ensure that all core data is captured effectively, and that any variation is quickly highlighted.
  • Create and maintain documentation for logistics & distribution processes and systems.
  • Support planning with all logistics providers, including sharing requirements via SIOP process.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record keeping as per compliance.
  • Proactive support to Internal/Statutory/Excise and customs auditor.
  • Have structured weekly calls and regular KPI reports with the factory and freight forwarders.
  • Conduct Logistics Tier meeting & participate in Factory Tier call
  • Working knowledge of Saber, MOI etc. approvals related to Saudi operations.
  • Willing to learn how to drive operating vehicles, mechanized devices or equipment - running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks etc – for all activities related to receiving, shipping, staging, shelving etc. In addition to receiving a valid forklift driving license. Such operations to be carried as a back-up only and under strict HSE regulation.
