YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s* degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and 2 years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or related field. Full term of experience must include: financial forecasting/modeling/reporting; AOP (Annual Operating Plan) development and load (Hyperion Planning); cost accounting; full P&L (Profit and Loss) statement accountability, including VCM (Variable Contribution Margin), Gross Profit and Operating Income analysis; analytical skills, linking results to drivers; business finance partner.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.

Finance Manager for Hand Held Products Inc. (Charlotte, NC)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as global finance lead of two Lines of Business: Service and Enterprise Mobility.
  • Various financial reporting and analysis, forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
  • Responsible to look for opportunities to drive working capital improvements and optimize cash flow performance.
  • Serve as finance leader for the services line of business, responsible for providing key insight on decision-making and operationalizing annual, quarterly and monthly targets into an action-oriented plan.
  • Responsible for working cross-functionally to not only develop a plan to meet targets, but to do their part in executing the plan to meet those targets.
  • Partner with Services & EM GM and regional leaders in driving annual plan, profitable business.
  • Finance partner that advises leadership on opportunities/risk that impact financial performance of the business.
  • Coordinate, communicate and complete monthly financials forecasts.
  • Prepare and present Annual Operating Plan. Support Weekly and Monthly Financial reporting for AMS initiative.
  • Support End of Month journal entries for Enterprise Mobility (EM).
  • Contribute to EM and Service Forecasting process.
  • Monthly P&L break downs and help identify RCCA for GM to drive actions.
  • Support EM and Service SEAs.
  • Service Operations Sites financial analysis.
  • P&L of 3 Party Repair Partners and VCM relative to cost model.
  • Produce robust Cost Modeling factored for deployment environment (Retail in Store vs Warehouse, etc.).
  • Perform Deferred Bank health (New vs Renew), Margin health, Volume vs Revenue, aging and burn down analysis.
  • Mature financial reporting including Sub LOB performance reporting: Contract New Vs Renew, T&M, Spares, Deployment, Depot, Help Desk, MDM, 3rd Party Billings (TEM Services).
  • Work independently and collaborate effectively.
