As a Sr Program Specialist here at Honeywell, you will manage projects for HCI India Business. As a Sr Program Specialist here at Honeywell, you will Manage Projects of the HCI (Honeywell Connected Industrial) business unit, define project scope, and ensure efficient execution and delivery. You will report directly to our India Operations Manager, and you’ll work out of our Pune, Maharashtra location on a [Hybrid] work schedule.
  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably in the process measurement and control industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Project operations to ensure successful End to End execution and delivery.
  • Lead a team of Engineers and coordinators, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders to develop and implement program strategies.
  • Monitor Project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Area of Responsibility

Key Activities/Elements

1. Management
  • Overall responsibility for end to end delivery of Assigned Projects at HCI India level with the given resources and delivering the agreed numbers
  • Manage HCI India projects in the effective adoption, implementation and compliance with HPS GPMO guidelines, APAC policies, processes, procedures, tools and business best practices

2. Customer Satisfaction
  • Ownership to maintain customer’s satisfaction at acceptable levels and promptly resolves customer issues for assigned Projects

3.Finance
  • Ownership for Projects financial performance and monitoring of financial performance on a monthly basis and continuously review estimates versus actuals across HCI projects to continuously improve Projects operational metrics such as Revenue, Billing, Collection, etc.

4.Cost Control & Productivity
  • Responsible for driving costs down to be competitive in the market. Controls cost and maximize productivity through the implementation of effective methods and standard processes

5.Estimate and Risk Reviews
  • Participates in estimate review/ risk review process prior to jobs or contracts being quoted to ensure labour estimates are correct and that the work is achievable from a technical perspective. Ensure that subcontracts, where applicable, are complete and documented.

6.Resouce Planning
  • Ensures projects are resourced properly in coordination with Engineering team.
  • Develops effective partnerships with subcontractors to ensure an adequate pool of resources is available for assigned project.

7. Other Skills
  • Financial Skills: The ability to understand financial data at contract level and identify appropriate actions indicated by variances to ensure key metrics are achieved.
  • Decision Making: The ability to make considered and effective decisions and take clear action to address issues.
  • Execution: The ability to mobilize resources and develop and implement action plans / control mechanisms to achieve desired results and deliver on commitments
  • Risk Management: The ability to understand the implications and assess the appropriate degree of acceptable risk and take actions to minimize risk.
  • Customer Relationship Management: The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers based on trust and mutual understanding.
  • Drive for Results: The ability to demonstrate energy and determination to achieve results and improvement by overcoming obstacles, remaining effective despite setbacks and challenging current thinking
