As an Electrical Engineer Intern here at Honeywell, you will gain hands-on experience in engineering support, assist in technical guidance, and contribute to successful project completion.You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Mexico City location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Support in engineering activities related to hardware and firmware for PMC products. Work closely with product development teams to research and understand technical information about hardware design for portable gas detectors.

- English language (Advanced Writing Level).
- Experience with Microcontroller based systems.
- Analog & Digital system design and Interfacing with sensors.
- Good knowledge of various communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Exposure to Wireless Interfaces like Wi-Fi and BLE.
- Ability to statistically analysis data with software tools like MS Excel/MATLAB/Minitab.
- Utilize software tools for circuit design, simulation, and analysis.

- Work in multidisciplinary team to perform electronics system support.
- Schematics analysis for production changes.
- Circuit simulation to validate changes made.
- Working with regulatory teams to analysis the impact on the certifications.
- Activities of Verification & Validation (V&V).
- Perform firmware validations.
- Data acquisition for testing procedures.
- Technical report generation, documentation & progress reporting.
- Perform hands-on work in the lab, as required.
- Work closely with Embedded Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Quality Engineers, Regulatory Engineers, Product Management and ISC Teams.
