We have an opportunity for a Sr Commercial Finance Analyst to join us at Honeywell, in Bucharest, where you will serve as a strategic partner to commercial leadership, driving financial performance, commercial insights, and operational excellence across the organization.

You will lead initiatives that enhance profitability, optimize cost structures, and improve forecast accuracy, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This role is central to enabling data-driven decision-making and aligning financial strategy with business objectives.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to commercial leadership, translating complex financial data into actionable insights that drive growth and efficiency.
• Lead commercial finance support for pricing, rebates, and margin optimization across channels and geographies.
• Partner with Sales Excellence to define and monitor sales incentive plans (SIP), ensuring alignment with performance and strategic goals.
• Collaborate with Offering Management on New Product Introductions (NPI) and portfolio optimization (80/20 analysis).
• Own the weekly forecast and planning process by country, destination, and line of business, ensuring high forecast accuracy.
• Support the rolling forecast process, providing forward-looking financial guidance.
• Conduct in-depth analytics across market dynamics, customer churn, and vertical performance to identify growth opportunities, retention drivers, and segment-specific trends.
• Drive W2W (Wall-to-Wall) margin improvement initiatives across the portfolio Ensure consistency and data integrity by establishing a single source of truth across all financial outputs.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models and dashboards using tools like Power BI EDW and AI-powered analytics platforms to support decision-making.
• Optimize Cost to Serve by customers.
• Analyze and optimize commercial cost and perform benchmarking.
• Lead efforts to reduce past-due accounts receivable in partnership with the C2C team and Sales. Optimize customer payment terms.
• Reconcile Customer Rebates accruals.
• Mentor and guide the GFC team in Bangalore, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous development.
• Champion the “One BA” vision by promoting cross-GBE collaboration, sharing best practices, and harmonizing processes.

Key skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certifications (CGMA, CMA, CFA, CPA) preferred
• 5+ years in progressive finance roles, with strong exposure to FP&A, commercial finance, and international operations
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
• Experience with Power BI and tax compliance tools
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Strong ability to synthesize complex data into strategic insights and risk assessments
• Excellent communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment
