As a System Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency across various industries.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) from an accredited institution.
- Possess at least 5 years of experience in system engineering or related roles.
- Have in-depth knowledge of system integration, implementation and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in engineering tools and technologies related to system design and analysis.
- Experience in programming languages and databases such as VB and SQL, as well as familiarity with software development methodologies.
- Basic English reading and writing capabilities.
- Define and develop system architecture and design to meet project and client requirements.
- Plan and program Direct Digital Control (DDC) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) for projects.
- Plan and build graphic control software for SCADA monitoring systems.
- Ensure system solutions are scalable and reliable and comply with industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team to ensure the smooth execution and goal achievement of projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to sort out and manage system requirements, ensuring such requirements are clear, complete and traceable.
- Formulate and implement test plans, analyze test results and promote the implementation of rectification measures.
- Be responsible for on-site engineering supervision, commissioning arrangement, project documentation preparation, engineering drawing design and drafting, system architecture planning, network planning and management, system configuration, system integration, database management, as well as engineering support and troubleshooting.
- Conduct operational training on the system for clients.
