You will design and develop new ideas and solutions for new product development as well as current products modification and improvements based on in-service issues and market strategy. You are responsible for design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies and product improvements.

As an Intern Bachelors Mech Eng here at Honeywell, you will gain hands-on experience in mechanical engineering, work on real-world projects, and collaborate with experienced engineers to develop innovative solutions.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
- Must graduate before May 2028.
- This is a 16-month Co-Op from May 2026 – August 2027.
- The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
WE VALUE
- Knowledge of Mechanical Design, including thermal and structural analysis
- Familiarity with FEA tools
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
- Knowledge of 3D CAD systems, Creo / ProEngineer/Team Center preferred
- Experience with GD&T
- Understanding of mechanical part manufacturing techniques
- Understanding of PBA build processes
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Hands-on experience building and testing prototypes
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, and who consistently take the initiative to get things done
- Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree.
