YOU MUST:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
3 to 5 years of engineering experience in cross functional product development.
Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and design principles.
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and low-level programming.
Experience successfully developing products through their full lifecycle in a structured phase-based development process.
WE VALUE:
Familiarity with hardware debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
Knowledge of IoT systems and cloud integration.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge communication protocols LoRa, Bluetooth, 5G a plus.
Must have proven ability adhering to a software and/ or product development process.
Project management skills a plus.
Gas detector development experience a plus
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience applying six sigma methodologies
As part of PMC Engineering group, you will be one among the team designing & sustaining portable gas detectors
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for gas detection products using C/C++.
Document software requirements and architecture in collaboration with systems and hardware engineering teams.
Implement real-time applications on embedded platforms, including microcontroller-based systems.
Contribute to the architectural development of gas detection instruments that meet industry standards and customer requirements at optimal cost. Assist in creating a common corporate identity with Honeywell products.
Participate in risk analysis reviews, including DFMEA and PFMEA, quality audits, and problem-solving for field returns.
Contribute product integration into corporate management ERP systems, including ECN change notices in a factory environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with potentially conflicting goals and objectives.
Work collaboratively with Agile/SCRUM teams to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality software.
Continuously apply analytical thinking and problem-solving to optimize system performance and software reliability.
