Job Description

As a Sr Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal leadership role in the semiconductor engineering team, overseeing complex projects, and guiding the development of cutting-edge semiconductor technologies. Your expertise and strategic vision will be instrumental in achieving Honeywell's semiconductor technology goals.

In this role, you will impact the development and execution of semiconductor engineering projects, ensuring they align with Honeywell's business strategies and goals. You will manage project portfolios, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful execution of projects. Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • VHDL, DSP, and STA knowledge
  • Xilinx FPGA design and development
  • IC experience
  • Build requirements, design, and simulation
  • Conduct code synthesis
  • Integration and test support
  • Provide customer support
  • Prepare documentation
  • Mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum of eight years (Bachelor’s) or six years (Master’s) of professional experience in FPGA design, preferably using Xilinx devices and tools

WE VALUE

  • Professional knowledge of the DO-254 Airborne Electronic Hardware development lifecycle
  • Professional knowledge of VHDL or Verilog (both are desirable)
  • Professional knowledge of ASIC/FPGA radiation hardening techniques
  • Strong technical, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in technically managing people
  • Some experience with Analog, Systems, Controls, Filters, Servo Loops, and Op Amp designs
  • Strong experience in Xilinx FPGA/SOC development and ASICs
  • Some software coding skills, preferably using C
  • MATLAB/Simulink design and simulation skills
  • Some LabVIEW experience
  • Scripting language skills (e.g., Perl, Shell, TCL)
  • Knowledge of simulators, STA tools, synthesis, routing tools, AMBA, I2C, SPI
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Windows OS, LINUX OS, and Microsoft Office Suite tools
  • Effective and clear communication skills with a good ability to work with others
  • Ability to work accurately with excellent attention to detail
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow up on responsibilities
  • Self-starter who requires minimal oversight
