Job Description
As an Advanced Data Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data analytics to enhance the performance and efficiency of our Building Automation systems. Your expertise will drive data-driven insights that support operational excellence and strategic decision-making.
You will report directly to our Sr. Director Data Program Management and you’ll work out of our Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC on a Hybrid work schedule.
Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.
In this role, you will impact the effectiveness of our Building Automation solutions by framing, reviewing and implementing data governance policies, as well as updating, curating, and maintaining high-quality master data for Products and Customers.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights that drive improvements in Building Automation performance.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures and governance policies for Product master data, product taxonomy and associated digital assets.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures and governance policies for Customer master data and associated attributes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Develop and implement advanced analytics models to optimize building operations and energy management.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within the building automation space or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present findings effectively.
- Knowledge of building and maintaining data models for production usage.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively influence and coach others.
- Experience in master data analytics or related field.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques (e.g., machine learning, predictive modeling).
- Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives.
