Sr R&D Supervisor

As an R&D Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of engineers and scientists, providing technical expertise and guidance in the development of innovative solutions. You will ensure compliance with industry standards and Honeywell's quality protocols, and contribute to the generation of intellectual property through patent filings.

In this role, you will impact the development of groundbreaking technologies, foster a culture of continuous learning, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the successful commercialization of cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of engineers and scientists in the research and development department
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the development of groundbreaking solutions
• Manage projects and ensure adherence to industry standards and quality protocols
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive project execution and successful commercialization of technologies
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge

YOU MUST HAVE

• 2+ years of experience leading research and development projects within a technology or manufacturing environment
• Strong background in areas such as materials science, electronics, sensors, controls, or related fields

WE VALUE

• Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or another related field
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive technology commercialization is a plus
