Sr Pricing Analyst

A Pricing Support Technical Lead occupies a pivotal position within an organization, acting as the bridge between technical teams, pricing analysts, and commercial operations. This role is responsible for orchestrating the efficient and accurate implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of pricing systems, tools, and strategies. The ideal candidate combines technical acumen, leadership skills, and business understanding to drive pricing initiatives that support organizational goals and customer satisfaction. The role will reside within the pricing team, but have a dotted line to IT Director of CCEX.

• System Implementation & Support: Oversee the configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of pricing software or modules, such as CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems, ERP pricing engines, or custom pricing solutions.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate existing pricing processes and workflows, recommending and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Issue Resolution: Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues related to pricing systems, collaborating with internal IT, vendors, and business units to ensure timely resolution.
• Data Integrity & Analysis: Ensure data quality and integrity within pricing systems by developing governance protocols, overseeing data integration, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise between technical teams, pricing analysts, sales, finance, and product management to ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives and customer requirements.
• Documentation & Training: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for pricing systems and related processes. Conduct training sessions for end-users and technical staff.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure that all pricing processes and systems comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, with particular attention to data privacy and security.
• Project Management: Drive and coordinate projects related to system upgrades, new feature rollouts, or integrations with other business applications, applying best practices in project management and effective stakeholder communication.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, software releases, and industry trends relevant to pricing solutions, recommending and championing innovative tools or practices.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Salesforce CPQ, SAP Pricing) are advantageous.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in pricing support, technical systems management, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.

Technical Skills:

• · In-depth knowledge of pricing software and related platforms (such as CPQ, ERP, CRM systems).
• · Familiarity with data integration tools, scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python), and API management.
• · Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• · Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a keen eye for data integrity.
