In this role, you will own the delivery of a multi-year project to process plant(s) requirements. You will work within cross-functional teams to address complex engineering and logistical challenges in the development and construction process, driving innovation, safety and efficiency. Your expertise in systems engineering, project management, and technical leadership will be instrumental in shaping the success of this and future projects.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning, leading and reviewing Systems Engineering activities for the development of advanced industrial process plants, including:
  • Generation of proposal artifacts, including material/hours estimates and detailed technical volumes.
  • Discovery and capture of stakeholder and user needs
  • Creation, exploration and selection of concepts (for example, through trade studies)
  • Requirements derivation, decomposition, analysis and management
  • Technical risk and opportunity identification and management
  • Systems architecting, diagraming, modeling and interface definition
  • Engineering Change Management
  • Planning and support of implementation, acquisition, integration, construction, verification & validation activities
  • Participating in and generating materials for design reviews and other technical presentations
  • Technical writing of reports, descriptions of operation, plans, procedures, white papers, trade studies etc.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 10+ years of Engineering experience
  • 6+ years of Systems Engineering experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading technical teams
  • U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain government security clearance
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

WE VALUE

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field
  • Experience applying Systems Engineering to industrial processes and/or large infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with liquefaction, oil & gas refineries or similar fluid process plants.
  • Membership and participation in INCOSE
  • Proficiency with Cameo, or other model-based systems engineering (SysML) tools
  • Proficiency with DOORS or other requirements management tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Innovative mindset and a passion for technology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Multi-tasking and ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little guidance, who consistently take the initiative to get things done
  • Ability to adapt to and manage change based on project needs.

The annual base salary for this position is $125,000- 156,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
