UOP R&D Engineer - Adsorbent Development

With the development of our business in China, we are expanding Honeywell UOP R&D in China and currently looking for new talents to join our China R&D team. This is a R&D Engineer for new adsorbent development. You will have opportunities to work with business, sales, tech service one new products and new application developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive adsorbent technology development from concept to market.
• Plan and run lab and pilot experiments for product development and sales support.
• Support Technical Service in troubleshooting.
• Ensure lab follows SOPs and HSE policies.
• Prepare equipment expansion for business needs.
• Safeguard new technologies with patents and trade secrets.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.
• Ability to develop application technologies independently or within a team.
• Project experience in new chemical Research & Development in the refining and petrochemical industries.
• Familiarity with zeolite and alumina-type materials.
• Experience in developing and implementing experimental plans, including use of statistical tools for data analysis.
• Project management skills are considered an asset.
• Proficiency in communication and presentation in both English and Chinese.
