UOP R&D Engineer - Adsorbent Development

With the development of our business in China, we are expanding Honeywell UOP R&D in China and currently looking for new talents to join our China R&D team. This is a R&D Engineer for new adsorbent development. You will have opportunities to work with business, sales, tech service one new products and new application developments.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive adsorbent technology development from concept to market.
- Plan and run lab and pilot experiments for product development and sales support.
- Support Technical Service in troubleshooting.
- Ensure lab follows SOPs and HSE policies.
- Prepare equipment expansion for business needs.
- Safeguard new technologies with patents and trade secrets.
Qualifications
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.
- Ability to develop application technologies independently or within a team.
- Project experience in new chemical Research & Development in the refining and petrochemical industries.
- Familiarity with zeolite and alumina-type materials.
- Experience in developing and implementing experimental plans, including use of statistical tools for data analysis.
- Project management skills are considered an asset.
- Proficiency in communication and presentation in both English and Chinese.
