Job Description
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell, you will drive advanced manufacturing strategies, optimize processes, and implement cutting-edge technologies to achieve operational excellence and innovation. You will report directly to our Advanced Mfg Engineer Manager, and you’ll work out of our Cambridge, ON, location on an on-site work schedule.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new products are producible and meet yield and cost targets
- Determine manufacturing processes, procure and set up equipment, develop work instructions
- Support production teams with identification/resolution of manufacturing issues
- Perform/Lead Root Cause Corrective Analysis and drive corrective actions to closure
- Oversee all aspects of capital projects including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 1 year of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization.

- Experience in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and processes.
- Experience in the use of Lean tools
- Basic knowledge of dip brazing processes
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Basic knowledge of industry standards and specifications
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills
- Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
- Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done
