Job Description
Honeywell Building Automation is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales & Customer Enablement to lead the development and execution of world-class sales enablement programs. This role is critical to driving sales effectiveness, accelerating ramp-up time, and ensuring our sales teams are equipped to deliver value-based solutions across our portfolio of building automation technologies.
This role will sit in Atlanta, GA and work on a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Enablement Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales training strategy aligned with business goals, market trends, and Honeywell’s customer-centric approach. - Curriculum Development:
Design and deliver scalable training programs including onboarding, product training, solution selling, consultative sales, and vertical-specific enablement. - Performance Optimization:
Partner with Sales Excellence, Product Management, and Marketing to identify performance gaps and create targeted interventions to improve win rates and quota attainment. - Technology Integration:
Leverage digital platforms (e.g., LMS, CRM, sales enablement tools) to deliver engaging, data-driven learning experiences. - Team Leadership:
Lead a team of training professionals and external partners to execute training programs globally, ensuring consistency and quality across regions. - Metrics & Reporting:
Define KPIs and regularly report on training effectiveness, sales productivity, and ROI to senior leadership.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 10+ years of experience in sales training, enablement, or sales leadership, preferably in building technologies or industrial automation
- Proven success in designing and scaling global sales training programs
- Strong understanding of B2B sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, SPIN, MEDDIC)
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with LMS platforms, CRM systems (Salesforce), and sales enablement tools
