Job Description
As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer here at Honeywell Intelligrated, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge automation solutions. Your strong knowledge of mechanical design principles & methodologies will ensure that the products developed meet the highest standards of quality & reliability.
You will be part of our Core Product Center of Excellence & you’ll work out of our Mason, OH location on a hybrid 3-2 work schedule.
In this role, you will be a leader in the development of innovative electro-mechanical systems & components, ensuring they drive value to our customers while enhancing the overall performance & functionality of our products. You will be a part of a leader in the material handling industry.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or participate in the development of conveyance & material handling equipment, from concept to production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements & specifications.
- Design and develop electro-mechanical systems, components & assemblies.
- Support installation & aftermarket on customer deployments and issue resolution.
- Travel up to 10%
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design & development.
- Proficient in Solid modelling.
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical design principles & methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, with experience in mechanical analysis & simulation tools.
- Experience with six sigma, product testing & validation processes.
