An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated manufacturing technician to join our team at our site in Edinburgh.

We are looking for individuals with a range of assembly and testing experience to join our space clean room environment working on some of the most cutting edge technology within the space sector. This is a great opportunity for someone from either a space background or potentially a manufacturing and engineering discipline to join our company with great prospects.

Responsibilities

· Hand assembly of Microwave Components, using soldering techniques

· Mechanical Assembly following a prescribed build process

· Following detailed assembly instructions

· Microwave testing using network analysers

· Following detailed test instructions

· Fault finding on microwave products

· Carrying out visual quality checks and packing

· Labelling of finished parts

· Ability to identify manufacturing improvements

Qualifications

· Understanding of microwave signals or electrical circuitry

· Previous Skills working within an Assembly and, or Manufacturing environment

· Excellent attention to detail

· Proven competence in a similar role

· Demonstrate excellent dexterity and hand to eye co-ordination

· Work as part of a team

· Good time keeping

· Must be flexible

· Show Initiative
