Sr. Sales Development Engineer – Southeast Romania Building Automation, Commercial Fire & PAVA Systems

Location: Bucharest, Romania
Territory: Southeast Romania

We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Engineer to lead sales and business development for Building Automation, Commercial Fire Protection, and Public Address & Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems across Southeast Romania. Based in Bucharest, this role is responsible for expanding market presence, managing customer relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs in commercial and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth across Building Automation, Fire Safety, and PAVA portfolios.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including large-scale projects and long-term partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, system integrators, and end-users.
  • Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales cycle, including solution design, pricing, and proposal development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategy.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales or business development within building technologies, fire safety, or audio/communication systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), fire detection/suppression technologies, and PAVA systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse territory.
  • Fluent in Romanian and English.
  • Willingness to travel across Southeast Romania.
  • Technical background in engineering or a related field.

  • Experience working with multinational companies or complex solution sales
