Job Description
As a Sr Advanced Software Engr here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing advanced software engineering support for various projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support to resolve complex technical issues, and driving improvements in our software development processes.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as the technical authority on vibration analysis for rotating and reciprocating equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines, motors).
· Analyze vibration data to detect and diagnose mechanical faults such as imbalance, misalignment, bearing wear, and resonance.
· Develop and optimize condition monitoring programs using vibration and other predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., ultrasound, thermography).
· Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to recommend corrective actions and long-term solutions.
· Lead root cause failure analysis (RCFA) for vibration-related failures.
· Provide training and mentorship to junior analysts and technicians.
· Evaluate and implement advanced analytics tools, including AI/ML-based platforms for predictive maintenance.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 10816, API 670) and internal reliability guidelines.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum 8–10 years of experience in vibration analysis within the oil & gas or heavy industrial sector.
· Certified Vibration Analyst (Category II or higher) – ISO or equivalent.
· Strong understanding of rotating equipment design, operation, and failure modes.
· Proficiency in vibration analysis software (e.g., Emerson AMS, SKF, Bently Nevada, PRUFTECHNIK).
· Familiarity with CMMS and data integration platforms (SAP, OSIsoft PI, etc.).
· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with machine learning or advanced analytics in condition monitoring.
· Knowledge of other PdM technologies (infrared, ultrasound, oil analysis).
· Field experience in offshore or hazardous environments.
