Job Description

As a Quality Control Inspector here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional quality standards for our products. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections and tests at various stages of production, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous enhancement.

You will report directly to our Quality Control Manager and you'll work out of our Shreveport, LA location on a rotating shift schedule with overtime. In this role, you will impact the quality of our products and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform laboratory analysis and testing of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products using various testing methods and equipment.

• Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and SAP to record and track test results, generate reports, and maintain accurate documentation.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management system standards and participate in internal and external audits.

• Collaborate with relevant departments to investigate and resolve quality issues as well as implement corrective actions as needed.

• Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending strategies for enhancement.

• Act as a liaison between quality control and other departments to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution.

  • Prepare reports highlighting key performance indicators and recommending strategies for enhancement

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in laboratory analysis and testing.

• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.

• Experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and SAP.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management system standards.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
