Job Description
As a Lead Manufacturing Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Mechanical Systems & Components (MSC) business unit in Arizona. You will lead a team of technicians and provide technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of engineering processes and systems. Your leadership and technical skills will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on our MSC business unit by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our engineering processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and implement best practices. Your attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems will be instrumental in meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of manufacturing technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the team
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices
- Train and develop technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge in manufacturing processes
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Engineering Technician or a related role
- Strong technical skills in mechanical systems and components
- Experience leading a team of technicians
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience with CAD software and other engineering tools
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
