Sr Advanced R&D Engr/Scientist

Position Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Software Engineer to join Honeywell Tianjin R&D team, contributing to the development of industry automation software. This role will focus on software design, optimization, and deliverables. The position requires close collaboration with global team, and participation in cross-border technical coordination and validation.

Responsibilities

• Get deep understanding about business case, scope, requirement, architecture, design etc.
• Break down and prioritize features into well-estimated tasks.
• Unit test and integration test to drive high product quality.
• Collaborate to drive cross-functional project delivery.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, test plans and user manuals to support product lifecycle management.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science software or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with JAVA, others (C#, C++, JavaScript, Node.JS, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL) are plus.
• Demonstrated understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, Databases (SQL/ NoSQL)
• Workable English communication capability and collaborative skills
