Job Description
This role will be responsible for driving operational metrics and KPIs for IA engineering teams which include but not restricted to NPI program performance, revenue tracking for Global and India localization NPIs (E4E). Additionally, the role shall support to identify and calculate the environmental impact of products and processes through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies resulting in the reduction of environmental burden. This person is a key team member to drive Scope 3 Emissions calculation and is responsible for collaborating with the organization to identify actions required to reduce significant impacts in supply chain across Honeywell Products. As such, the role must possess technical skills and demonstrate business acumen.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Understand the IA New Product Introduction (NPI) Lifecycle and engage with Offering Managers and Project teams on revenue realization for India-based localization projects.
- Establish strong analytics and reporting to monitor engineering KPIs such as revenue, launch timeliness and key sustainability metrics and performance indicators to Engineering Leadership to enable informed decision making
- Identify, analyze, and derive insights / patterns from data. Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability principles into business processes and decision-making in IA
- Perform environmental lifecycle assessment (LCA) studies for existing as well as new Products and Processes and support Customer LCA/Sustainability enquiries. Should be able to provide overview of the LCA status of processes and products.
- Analysis of manufacturing emissions data, Engineering data pertaining to Process Design, Honeywell designed parts to develop life cycle inventories.
- Interpret Sustainability results with regards to their business relevance and devise actions, present findings to stakeholders
- Interact with business functions and tools & systems for LCA / Sustainability activities involving products, bills of materials, purchased parts and suppliers.
- Responsible for generating LCA reports in line with ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 standards and vaulting, management, and control of environmental footprint data.
- Champion optimization of processes and automation proposal implementation
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10-12 years overall experience with minimum 2 years of core experience with lifecycle assessment modeling and sustainability engineering practices.
- Master’s degree in science / Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Business degree such as MBA is preferable but not a must-have.
- In-depth understanding of at least one Business Process and familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) Lifecycle. Should know basic finance, project accounting and business case preparation.
- In-depth understanding of (lifecycle assessment ) LCA Program.
- Expertise in advanced EXCEL usage is a must-have requirement. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a bonus.
- Hands-on with PowerPoint presentations and reports.
- Strong direct experience in Life cycle Modelling tools such as Simapro, GABI, Open LCA, etc.
- Experience in writing strategic sustainability white papers on emerging sustainable technologies
