The Purpose of the Role:

Account manager will have direct business development and sales responsibility for the company’s core Security and Access Solutions (SAS) business within the region and will help to define, develop, introduce new and existing products and achieve the sales targets into the region that reflect the opportunities in the market and where the company can leverage existing competencies in areas such as technology, manufacturing and distribution to drive profitable growth.

He/she will work with Honeywell Security and Access Solution TICA (Turkey Israel Central Asia) team and report to Honeywell SAS Commercial Leader for Turkey, Israel and Central Asia to drive sales, marketing and operational synergies for key growth and productivity initiatives by working through existing sales channels and relationships as well as in the development of new channels where required.

He/she should have multi task ability and produce desired results in a deadline driven environment. All proposal work must be completed according to Honeywell professional standards.

The solution oriented consulting and advising with professional competence is one of the most important keys for the success.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Regional responsibility in caring for and advising clients, partners and planners
  • Achieving individual sales targets in the assigned region
  • Key account management
  • Relationship to existing partners, customers and authorities
  • Search potential buyers and build relations
  • Composition of tenders and general requests, preparation and presentation of offers
  • Having pre-sales knowledge about the SAS products to choose right product for the best offering
  • Support for Business Development during the project planning
  • Market and competition survey
  • Conduct and support marketing activities e.g. Roadshows, exhibitions and similar events
  • Frequent visit reporting to management and maintenance of the business development
  • Follow up of the quotations and maintain the opportunities/contacts in CRM system

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Maintain successful customer relationships
  • Introduction of HON portfolio, caring, advising and presentations. Support for planning and designing with HON products
  • Present and introduce the HON portfolio and explain the benefit for the end user
  • Present and discuss to leaders and senior stakeholders
  • Business development and achieving quarterly sales targets
  • Report on competitors’ activities and market trend reporting
  • This position is an individual contributor role

Qualifications

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Technical / Engineering Degree
  • 8-10 years’ experience in Low Voltage Current System B2B sales (Security Industry CCTV, Access and Intrusion)
  • Must have strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Confident negotiation, sales and business development skills
  • Strong relation management and persuasive ability, business development personality and strong customer orientation
  • Problem-solving and decision-making
  • Willingness to travel (50-70% travel required for this role)
  • Excellent English language
