Job Description

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design / critical review
- Will have working knowledge of all electronic H/W design & development activities, component selection processes, knowledge of tools used in generating component layout diagrams, tools used in generating BOM.
- Will have good understanding of various H/W testing topics – EMI/EMC, stress testing, pre compliance testing.
- Perform critical review of electronic H/W design documents, test plan, test reports, schematic/layout, testing of prototypes
- Understand Design to production processes, practices and deliverables
- Schedule and conduct compliance audits for H/W development activities--report and maintain audit findings
- Collaborate with global Honeywell employees in United states of America, China and Europe countries
- Jira, sales force, confluence pages
- Coach, mentor, and deploy six sigma tools, leading root cause analysis, impact analysis discussions, applying six sigma tools in analyzing data produced by development activities – product defects, customer reported
- Review SPC data from Service and internal Operations to provide correlations for product improvements and efficiency improvements
- Interface Honeywell internal Quality, Supplier Quality, and Regulatory teams on behalf of R&D for new product development as well as Sustaining work
- Review, edit, and write technical documentation Tech Notes and Service Bulletins
- Become specialist in Engineering Change Management to assure operational efficiency in Teamcenter and Jira
- Help create standard test reports and test documentation for design validation

The salary range for this position is ($100,000.00 - $125,000.00). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

Qualifications
MUST HAVE
- 2-5 years’ experience in electronics H/W development and/or verification activities and auditing/supporting new product development.
- Design, critical review, knowledge
- Understanding of electronic hardware design based on schematic design and board layouts
- Ability to perform, organize, and document DFMEA and PFMA risk mitigation for new product development in a cross-functional engineering team
- Experience working with regulatory bodies
