Job Description
As a Sr Tax Analyst - Mergers and Acquisitions here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's growth initiatives by providing tax analysis and guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with tax regulations while optimizing the tax implications of various business decisions.
You will work out of our Phoenix, AZ or the Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company's strategic direction by analyzing the tax implications of potential mergers and acquisitions, ensuring that the organization makes informed decisions that align with its financial objectives.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Prepare and review tax returns and supporting documentation
- Identify tax planning opportunities and strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement tax planning initiatives
- Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning
- This position requires that the candidate is a US Person (US Permanent Resident or US Citizen)
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions tax planning and compliance.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification
- Experience with tax software and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
