The Honeywell Software Centre develops state of the art networked building automation and digital video surveillance solutions that run on Microsoft platforms. Recognised as a leader in the development of innovative and quality software we use the latest development methodologies and tools and maintain a strong ongoing commitment to Quality Systems.

You will be part of a team of software engineers responsible for the development of our enterprise Video Management System known as Digital Video Manager (DVM). This product is exported worldwide through Honeywell’s global businesses.

• Perform software engineering tasks to develop product enhancements to Honeywell's market leading solutions for buildings. Tasks include a range of activities across the full software development lifecycle.
• Agile Development Process
• Provide responsive customer support for software solutions developed
• Collaborate with team members to find best practice solutions for software and processes

• Tertiary qualification in Bachelor of Engineering or other equivalent qualification
• Expertise in delivering high quality customer facing solutions for the Microsoft Windows platform using modern C/C++, ideally with experience in video processing pipelines or a similar domain
• Proficiency in SOLID principles, test driven development
• Experience creating performant, scalable and maintainable software designs
• Experience working with C#
• Experience with live video streaming applications
• Experience in video processing frameworks and libraries e.g. FFmpeg, Media Foundation
• Experience in COM programming
• Experience profiling high performance code
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
