As a Manufacturing / Quality IT Manager here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for the administration and maintenance of our manufacturing systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and optimal performance. You will play a critical role in assisting our manufacturing operations and driving continuous improvement in our systems and processes. You will report directly to our IT Director, and you'll work out of Morris Plains location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by:
- Overseeing the setup, maintenance, and performance optimization of manufacturing systems SAP Production Planning (PP)
- Experience with at least two full lifecycle implementations of SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA) specifically working with the SAP Production Planning (PP) module
- Experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation with SAP Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
- Experience integrating SAP PP with a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and SAP Quality Management (QM)
- Experience designing custom RICEF solutions and writing functional specifications
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, including ownership of Bills of Material (BOM) and Master Data Management (MDM) tools/systems for manufacturing data
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management, including Engineering BOMs and Manufacturing BOMs and Experience with both Make to Stock and Make/Engineer/Configure to Order business models
- Monitoring the performance of our systems, identifying and resolving technical issues
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements
- Ensuring robust system security and compliance with established protocols
- Documenting system configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge transfer and standardization

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

YOU MUST HAVE
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in in SAP Production Planning (PP), MRP, MES, QM, FICO related, PLM, BOM and MDM
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, preferably in complex industrial equipment (or similar) and assembly line operations
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management, including Engineering BOMs and Manufacturing BOMs
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to guide system upgrade initiatives
