As a Joint Venture and Tolling Manager here at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our JV and toll manufacturing facilities. You are the key point of contact for ensuring that the production of chemical products is safe, efficient, and compliant with regulatory standards. Your duties involve overseeing production processes, guiding a team of partners and tollers, and implementing rigorous safety and quality audits to ensure we need our corporate and regulatory standards. Your expertise comes into play as you optimize plant operations, reduce downtime, control production costs, and ensure the quality of our products for our customers. Your guidance is essential in maintaining the facility's integrity, meeting production targets, and upholding high standards of safety and environmental responsibility in our dynamic and complex industrial environment.
You will report directly to our VP of manufacturing and technology and you'll work out of a US location (Houston, Morris Plains, etc.) on an onsite work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and success of our joint venture and tolling manufacturing facilities. As the key focal point for JV and tolling relationships, you will coordinate new product launches, ensure HSE and quality expectations are met, and work with production planning to ensure the needs of the business are met, reducing downtime, and controlling costs, you contribute to increased profitability and operational excellence. Moreover, your role in upholding safety and environmental standards not only mitigates risks but also ensures our company's reputation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the joint venture and tolling plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Guide and motivate a team of producers to achieve production targets and maintain a safe working environment.
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve operational issues.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Proven experience of 6+ years in managing chemical plant operations.
- Strong knowledge of process safety, environmental regulations, and quality management systems.
- Excellent guidance and communication skills, with a strong aptitude for managing through influence.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
