Sr. IT Project Manager

This role will join a team of Project Managers and will have end-to-end accountability for planning and delivering IT projects across various HR functional areas. This individual will be the IT point of contact for customers, suppliers, and other IT functions and will bring a solid IT background with strong project and program management skills, experience with HR data and systems, and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of end-to-end project delivery. Preference will be given to candidates with experience with a large Cloud HCM Platform or similar to Workday HCM, Oracle HCM or SAP HCM. This role would play a key role in the transition from On-Premise Peoplesoft to Cloud HCM.
Job Responsibilities:
Project Manage global implementation of Cloud HCM across multiple business units and corporate departments. Partner with business stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of business processes and priorities of HR systems.
Manage project funding, track vendor invoices, adhere to and readjust forecasting, draft and execute vendor contracts (SOW).
Drive and facilitate stakeholder discussion to develop short term and Long-term technology strategy and roadmap and provide strategic thought leadership for strategy execution.
Understand functional business requirements for technology solution; liaise with the technical teams (development, testing and support teams) to ensure requirements are understood and translated accurately for solution delivery
Develop a solid understanding of upstream and downstream dependencies of process and tools; coordinate with system and data owners during and after solution deployment as needed
Own and drive new projects, enhancements and special initiatives partnering with the appropriate stakeholders. Activities include working with IT Business Partners, suppliers and internal teams on effort estimation and costing, facilitating solution architecture design, and design implementation.
Develop functional and user acceptance testing strategy and execution of test plans.

Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years' experience working in Project and Program Management role
- 5+ years' experience in Agile and waterfall methodologies
- Strong experience project managing global Cloud HCM implementations, with a large Cloud HCM Platforms or similar to Workday HCM, Oracle HCM or SAP HCM.
- Experience in project management tools (JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project) and methodology (Agile, Waterfall).Experience with MS Office (especially PowerPoint and advanced Excel)
We Value:
- PMP and CSM certification preferred
