Electrical Maintenance Technician
We have an opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join us at Honeywell, in Southend, you will be responsible for providing engineering solutions, work in line with maintenance techniques, and perform maintenance on electrical assets including mould and power presses, pumps, conveyors, ancillary equipment etc.
This role is 100% onsite and will follow a rotational shift pattern of 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm Mondays to Fridays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out pre-planned and reactive maintenance on electrical assets including mould and power presses, pumps, conveyors, and ancillary equipment etc.
  • Providing engineering solutions when immediate spares aren't available (retrofitting, reverse engineering or modifying equipment)
  • Working in line with maintenance techniques and best practices complying with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance and inspection logs
  • Supporting and mentoring apprentices.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Time Served Apprenticeship in an electrical engineering field.
  • Strong experience working with PLC controlled plant and associated equipment.
  • Fault finding and repair
  • Experience working in a fast-moving production environment.
  • This is not an electrical installation role.
