As a Quality Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of quality standards for our current or new products and processes. You will be responsible for leading and implementing quality improvement initiatives, conducting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement efforts within the current processes and throughout the production processes. Your expertise in quality engineering methodologies and tools will be essential in identifying and resolving quality issues. You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Ciudad Juarez MX2M location.

In this role, you will impact the overall quality and reliability of our products, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and implement quality improvement initiatives

Evaluate and provide input to inspection processes via inspection aids and instruction guidelines.

Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for current and NPI process

Conduct inspections and tests to ensure product quality and reliability

Lead and administrate Customer Complaints

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

Analyze data and identify trends to drive continuous improvement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues

Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency, and professionalism

Participate in cross-functional teams in changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements

Calculate, monitor, and present Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) quality related, in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity.

Write reports and present progress as requested, internally and to customers

Define and oversee the Quality Process in the production floor that includes all quality routines and inspection through the production processes

Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability

Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision

Active participation in ensuring compliance with electronic industry standards and regulations

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering in Electronic Industry.

Strong knowledge of SMT process, and post-SMT processes for electronic products.

Strong knowledge of quality engineering methodologies and tools

Experience with statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques

Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Experience in new product introduction quality related processes (APQP, PPAP, FAI, etc.)

Experience in contact with customers and suppliers

Demonstrate open, clear, concise, and professional communication (verbal and written)

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with manager, co-workers and customer.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard

Knowledge of IPC A610, J STD001, ESD S20.20 standards

Ability to use ERP system

Willingness to travel internationally and domestically

Bilingual
