Responsibilities:
You will take role as Advanced test Engr, leading the testing team to ensure product quality for video surveillance systems. You will design comprehensive testing strategies, covering functionality, performance, and stability aspects. You will work closely with global R&D teams to identify and resolve technical challenges, analyze product risks, and continuously improve testing frameworks. Your role will involve setting up robust testing environments, performing automated and manual testing, and delivering actionable reports that drive product improvements. Strong communication and technical skills are required to effectively collaborate across global teams and contribute to QA capability building within the organization.
Responsibilities will include
Analyze testing requirements for video surveillance products and design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and strategies, covering functionality, performance, stability, and integration.
Conduct tests on video surveillance product hardware and software systems, including:
- Product function tests
- Performance tests
- App tests
- VMS tests
- Image quality tests
Perform both automated and manual testing. Document and track issues identified during testing and assist the R&D team in defect localization and resolution.
Set up and maintain test environments, including system configuration, user scenario simulations, and network deployment.
Analyze test results, evaluate product quality risks, provide detailed test reports, and propose improvement suggestions.
Work closely with R&D, offering, and technical support teams to drive the resolution of product issues.
Participate in the analysis and validation of customer-reported issues to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in testing surveillance cameras or security devices, with a solid understanding of the working principles and key testing points of surveillance systems.
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP protocols, with familiarity in video stream protocols like RTSP and ONVIF.
Experience in performance, stress, and stability testing is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to collaborate across departments and drive project progress.
Demonstrated learning ability and innovation mindset to continuously improve testing methods and tools.
Experience testing mainstream security and surveillance devices.
Familiarity with image processing algorithms and quality evaluation standards (e.g., MTF, Signal-to-Noise Ratio, and color reproduction).
Experience with cloud-based surveillance platform testing and knowledge of edge computing or AI-based analytics is a plus.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Communication, or related fields.
Master’s Degree is preferred.
