As an Injection Moulding Technician at Honeywell, in Luton, you will be responsible for carrying out mould changes in response to production requirements, completing quality checks and responding to non-conformities, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This is a shift based role working a 6 week rolling shift pattern (Monday to Friday) of 2 weeks of early shifts 6.00am to 2.00pm, 2 weeks of night shifts 10.00pm to 6.00am and 2 weeks of late shifts 2.00pm to 10.00pm.

Key responsibilities
- Mould and tooling changes, start up and shut down of machines along with responding to line stoppages and breakdowns of machines and robots
- Carrying out and recording product quality checks using CMM equipment and gauges
- Identifying and responding to quality issues to minimise scrap
- Carrying out and recording daily safety and TPM checks on machines
- Regular strip down, cleaning and inspection of mould tooling
Key skills and qualifications
- Experience working with the injection moulding process as a Setter or Technician
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring gauges
- Good understanding of industrial health and safety requirements and practices
- Effective communicator, both verbal and written
- Industry recognised Injection moulding qualifications would be an advantage
