Assembly Mechanic - Level 2



As an Assembly Mechanic - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical components and systems. Your expertise in mechanical assembly and attention to detail will ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You will report directly to our Assembly Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location schedule.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in the assembly process, ensuring that all components are properly assembled and meet the required specifications. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure the accuracy and functionality of assembled components
• Test and troubleshoot mechanical systems to identify and resolve any issues or defects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth flow of production and timely delivery of products
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

YOU MUST HAVE


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow assembly instructions
• Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly
    • Experience with precision measuring tools and equipment
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
