We have an opportunity for a Procurement Buyer (Intern) to join us at Honeywell in Bucharest - Building Automation. The ideal candidate should learn how to execute tactical work in procurement - placing POs, setting up suppliers, unblocking invoices & maintaining automation for the scope covered Leads. Supporting operations teams to deliver against key performance indicators
This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.

Key responsibilities:
- Involved in placing purchase orders, to meet internal customer requirements. Ensures Purchase Orders are placed within 24 hours of receipt of complete requisition. Managed changes to existing purchase orders to ensure alignment to commercial agreements.
- Taking part in initiating and following through to completion new supplier setups or changes. Collaborates with category teams and vendor master to ensure standard process is followed
- Learn about Invoice discrepancies and how to resolve all issues relating to procurement invoice holds. Collaborates with Accounts Payables to ensure invoice holds are eliminated
Key skills and qualifications
- Final Year Students or enrolled in Masters Program (Economical Studies would be a plus)
- Strong Communication Skills
- Fluent English
