The objective of the role is to deliver Financial targets for ~$60M Services business and develop and implement strategies that enable strong double digit profitable growth YOY. The business is poised to transform on a strong and diverse install base of critical assets leveraging connected technologies and service excellence.
Specifically, the role involves leading a team of 1000+ Service Professionals who can deliver a world-class Customer Service to HBS Install Base in the country. The position is based in Pune/ Bangalore and reports into Vice President and GM –Building Automation, India.
Area of Responsibility | Key Activities/Elements |
Leadership | Lead a talented, engaged and high-performing team. Ensure that team members are clear on objectives and are held accountable for deliverables. |
Customer Satisfaction | Build strong relationships with customers and maintain customer satisfaction at target levels and promptly resolve customer issues |
Finance | Deliver financial performance for the business - Orders, Revenue, OI, FCF and Working Capital on a monthly basis. |
Cost Control & Productivity | Responsible for driving costs down to be competitive in the marketplace. Controls cost and maximizes productivity through the implementation of effective methods, standard processes and engagement of the Supply Chain team. Ensure the availability of tools, equipment, and materials required while maintaining and controlling inventory levels. |
Resource Planning | Ensures Service & Sales are resourced properly across the region and that sharing and collaboration across regions is encouraged |
Performance Management | Manage the performance management process, conduct performance appraisals, and provide coaching, training, career planning, development, salary administration, and reward and recognition for the team. |
Team Building/Communication | Builds an effective team committed to organizational goals, and fosters collaboration among team members and between teams. Develop strong relationships with Project leaders to ensure effective sales-to-service operations handovers, optimized utilization of resources, and maximal Service conversion. |
Change Management | Be the change management leader for the team and aggressively implement agreed-upon initiatives. |
Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge
Education /Qualifications | Graduate engineering degree with an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. |
Experience | 15+ years experience in a team leadership role necessary. Thorough knowledge of field operations, financial processes and General Management Knowledge of the Buildings industry or Building Management Systems (BMS) is a plus Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others |
