Responsibilities

§ This role is responsible for managing Software product development and delivery (SaaS, APIs, Desktop app, Web apps, etc.) to successful Business-Case realization/adoption

§ Detailed Planning: Drives the translation of business case / concept into engineering deliverables and implementation plan. Performs estimation, balances technical risks / dependencies, resources, vendors, etc. during the detailed planning phase

§ Execution& Delivery: Uses a Line-management focus to drive the right engineering results, and achieve readiness for launch, with the right KPIs/ metrics and tools that provide high predictability and quality to stakeholders and senior execs alike. Playing a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, technology, process, and tools, and coaching members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the project team. Drive BIQ in team using Honeywell tooling

§ Launch& Go-live: Plan and support Alpha and Beta with teams. Work with Product Management, Business & Finance to measure outcomes against goals

§ Critical Targets to meet:

o Transformation to Agile, CI/CD,DevOps, and standardization of practices with appropriate tools /
dashboards / metrics (effort, schedule, cost, revenue, defects)

o Schedule, Cost, and Effort Compliance: Phase gate compliance, revenue Say / Do, Sprint and PI Say/Do and continuous improvement in product/KPIs

Skills
Technical: Solid understanding of Software engineering life cycle models. Exposure to web development (, ASP.NET, WebAPI, C#), Cloud (Azure), IoT, UI Technologies (Angular), SaaS services, large deployments. Control Systems domain knowledge preferable

§ Agile: Expert on Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum / SAFe), CI&CD, DevOps; catalyst in transforming organizational culture to bring in agility & predictability in delivery

§ Influencing: Great communicator, ability to influence teams, orienting them to be self-performing, and deliver exceptional business value. Lead teams and function to achieve common goal (Architects, Engineers, Cyber security, Quality, tech publications, etc.)

§ Project Management: Plans and executes project as per PI planning; drives estimation, dependencies, milestones, and integration goals. Understanding of product roadmap and business acumen will be advantage

§ Problem Solving: Follows a structured problem-solving approach; demonstrates agility and alacrity in execution and decisions

Qualifications & Experience

§ Graduate in Engineering, or Masters in Math / Science / Computers, with 12-15 Yrs. of experience

§ 4 – 8 yrs in project lead or responsible for technical delivery. Preferable: hands-on exposure to enterprise grade web, cloud and desktop applications delivery

§ Experience in execution with Agile CI / CD, Cyber Security, exposure to roles such as Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer / Release Train Manager preferred

§ Exposure to tools such as Jira or equivalent, VS, BitBucket, CI&CD , Visio, and all Office Tools

§ Experience in managing culturally diverse and geographically distributed teams.

§ Proven track record of managing complex software projects and deliveries creating incremental revenue impact as per the business case

§ Desired Certifications: Azure certified Solution Architect
