Principle Responsibilities
Area of Responsibilities | Key Activities/Elements |
Service Delivery | Ø Reporting and in-depth analysis of monthly financials (P&L, B/S, Free Cash Flow, etc) to support business reviews. Ø Develop meaningful and insight business metrics and work with business partners assist decision making process Ø Partner with business counter parts in Planning and Estimate processes and perform the actual Vs Plan/Est. variance analysis. Ø Prior direct people management experience would be added advantage Ø Operational expertise in STRAP/AOP/Estimate process. Ø Develop and implement financial trend reports to identify performance issues within the business and risks or opportunities in current financial Plan / Estimate. Ø Provide analysis and guidance for the Monthly Operations Reviews. Ø Provide support and analysis for competitor review and economic indicators trends. Ø Partner with SBG/Us & COE Leadership to enhance current process metrics & performance measurement system in line with Honeywell as well as key industry practices. Ø Train new employees and ensure training material/documentation is up to date. |
Business Partnering | Ø Partner with the business in driving key business goals and initiatives. Ø Develop suggestions for process improvements as needed, to maximize scalability and minimize manual work. Ø Implement process improvement plans by developing tools and other solutions with cross functional teams. Ø Partner with business and demonstrate insight of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to business counterparts and management in order to drive business results. |
Process Efficiency | Ø Exposure to Global Customers with ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees/customers and align and integrate with other departments / sites. Ø Identifying opportunities for process improvements which include driving efficiencies in the work area to speed up and improve the quality of output. Ø Identifying and introducing best practices that add value to the processes. Ø Provide reliable and accurate financial reporting that exceeds existing standards and facilitates decision making. |

Education level and/or relevant experience(s) | Ø Finance/ Commerce / equivalent degree with min 6 yrs of relevant experience in FP&A. Ø CA,ICWAI, MBA, CIMA, CFA, CPA or equivalent qualified is an added advantage Ø Excellent analytical, modeling, and technical skills with high attention to detail Ø Must be proficient with Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Ø Expert Knowledge on STRAP/AOP/Estimate process |
Knowledge and Skills (general and technical) | Ø Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, Snowflake, Oracle, Essbase, Business Objects and Hyperion Financial Management and should have flexibility to adapt to different ERPs/Reporting tools. Ø Strong business acumen coupled with financial prudence. Ø Expert financial analysis skills; ability to think outside of traditional role to evaluate business implications Ø Highly self motivated and result oriented attitude. Ø Expert in systems with ability to develop complex financial models and reporting packages dealing with large amounts of data. Ø Knowledge on VB/ Macros will be an added advantage. Ø Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, along with superior attention to detail. Ø Excellent communication skills (both oral and written); must be able to communicate at all levels of the organization Ø Highly collaborative and willing to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. |
